A London pros & cons list
Hi there, it’s Sunday again. I had a very low-key weekend, organizing my wardrobe (closet), kitchen cupboards (cabinets), and larder (pantry). My flat is starting to feel more like home, and now that I have all my furniture, I’ve moved on to organizing and decorating - the fun part :)
No cute stories or adventures this week, but thought I’d make a quick pros & cons list. I get asked constantly “how are you finding London?” and “do you like New York or London better?” and my answer changes week to week. So let’s sit down and process this together:
Pros
The parks here are beautiful, and there are a lot of them. I live near Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park, but have also been to Hyde Park, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park, and Wimbledon Park! All lovely in their own way
There is much less trash (and other gross stuff) on the sidewalk
It’s Christmas for 2 full months of the year
Cons
London feels more crowded than New York. Week
days during rush hour are insane, and weekends in touristy areas are super congested
Still not over the crooked/winding streets
The tube is on the cons list for now. Specifically the Northern Line which I take to work. It’s loud, stuffy, and cramped

PS I bought a massive cauliflower over the weekend so please send me a note if you have any ideas on what I should make with it.
